The YOU portal is an innovative solution to well-being challenges on college campuses. Originally developed with Colorado State University, the portal has since spread to other institutions across the county. In 2016 as part of a team of interns, I developed both public relations and advertising components for the portal’s launch 2016 fall launch. Press releases, social media elements, and other approaches focused not only on introducing audiences to YOU@CSU, but also developing longevity and sustained interest. Cactus Inc. selected this pitch from four presentations as the winning promotional campaign.
The campaign received the following feedback from the YOU@CSU account manager: "What most set you apart was your ability to build on the existing promotional plan of YOU@CSU and target platforms that have yet to be utilized. All the while, it was clear that your group challenged one another to create a fully realized presentation that targeted a range of key publics that exist on CSU's campus today."
